This past weekend was the third time the Auto Club Speedway in Fontana played host to HARD Summer, the electronic music festival, started in 2007. The stacked lineup thrilled the more than 170,000 attendees across two days – reports are showing that this was the biggest event in the city of Fontana’s history.

A handful of lucky winners got to experience the festival as VIP guests – including experience upgrades, airfare and transportation to and from the speedway, accommodations and more. TSC Apparel partnered with American Apparel and Live Nation to offer a sweepstakes for free VIP packages to the festival – the winners included a TSC customer winner, and TSC Apparel inside and outside sales representative winners. The contest ran through Monday, July 8, 2019 and ended on Friday, July 26, 2019.

VIP contest winners arrived in California on Friday August 2, and had a day to explore on their own, before meeting late afternoon on Saturday and Sunday to head to the festival.

On August 3-4, the festival, put on by Insomniac Events, spread across six tents and stages, filled the length of the Speedway and extended down the middle of part of the drag strip and pit areas. The VIP areas included a VIP viewing deck, lounge, and dedicated dance areas at several of the stages that allowed guests to feel front and center stage at every big performance. The American Apparel contest winners were treated to additional amenities such as a dedicated “front row” cabana and free food and beverages.

Hot temperatures dominated the desert racetrack, reaching up to 100 degrees on Sunday, but the VIP guests stayed cool with an array of misters, airy cabanas away from the crowd, and a VIP pool, already filled with themed inflatables.

From accommodations at the Loews Hotel at the base of the Hollywood Hills, lounging in the cabana, deliciously greasy festival fries, splashing in the VIP pool, or watching the show from the best seats in the house, when American Apparel & Live Nation offer a once in a lifetime experience, they aren’t kidding.

Q: How long have you done business with TSC Apparel?

A: 10 years

Q: Why do you like doing business with TSC?

A: Thomas Lovelace (Outside Sales Representative) is great to work with. Super nice guy.

Q: Do you work with the American Apparel brand/why do you like selling American Apparel?

A:  Recognized brand. Product has a great hand. As soon as the customer touches it, it sells itself.

Q: What was your favorite part about your trip to the HARD Summer Festival?

A: The people watching. I had to pick my jaw up off the floor many times. Just when I thought it couldn’t get any more outrageous, it did.

Q: Was this your first VIP festival experience and how would you describe it?

A: Yes, this was our first. We were treated like a King and Queen. Everything from the pick up at the airport to the drop off was fantastic.

Q: Any other comments about the trip in general?

A: Great group of people. Excellent experience, can’t stop talking about it and how grateful we are for being selected to go even though everyone, including my children, thought we were too old to attend. Exceptional experience.
